"This was a family reunion with family from the Bay Area and from the UK. We have stayed at this property before, and we were pleased with the upgrades to the kitchen area. Our stay was magical. The privacy in the extensive grounds, the beautiful pool and well-appointed house set the scene for a great visit. Minor problems with the pool and hot water were attended to immediately by the property management team. We are recommending Estrella to friends who are looking for a similar arrangement"

"The house was clean and comfortable, but the property and pool is the highlight! It’s a good location if you want to visit Bodega Bay and surrounding little towns or just float in the pool. It was freakishly hot when we were there (for the area) and was over 100 every day, but the AC kept the house very cool. "Everything about this house was truly spectacular. The views were breathtaking, the house was very modern but inviting with every detail thought of. Comfortable family room perfect for our family of 5 adults to watch movies and play games. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it easy to grill/cook meals. We enjoyed the house and pool so much we decided to eat more meals at home than out. We definitely enjoyed every moment of our stay and hope to return some day!! "

"Three generations of our family gathered here for 4 fabulous days. We relaxed and played in the pool/hot tub, watched movies in the theatre, took advantage of the nearby restaurants and spent a fun afternoon at Safari West. The house has a wonderful, airy layout with lots of cool spaces to hang out together or alone. Host went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed an stress-free time. Highly recommend!!"

"We had an amazing time. The house and property are even better than in the pictures. It’s especially great for kids - there are blackout shutters in out of 4 rooms, and there is a walk in closet that makes for a perfect baby room if needed. Communication with Peter was very easy throughout."

"The property has stunning views and was overall a pleasant stay. The only minor inconvenience was the city or county was repaving the road which made leaving and entering the property tricky since the road is pretty narrow."

"This house surpassed all expectations! We stayed there for a girls weekend (50+ year old women) and it was perfect! Pictures accurately represent everything, so there were no surprises. Ellen and team are super responsive and answered every single question we had very quickly! As other reviews mention, the kitchen is insanely well stocked, which is so nice in a VRBO! You won't be disappointed."

"Rivendell had great location on the river. The dock and kayaks were a highlight. The home was clean and the kitchen was well appointed with everything you could need. High quality appliances. We had an issue with the TV and the property managers were very helpful in getting it resolved. Screen doors to the patio would be appreciated to allow for a breeze to circulate the house as it’s quite warm in the afternoon. A very relaxing and comfortable home to spend time with family on the river :-)"

"Beautiful surroundings, views, hike up the mountain. House was clean, comfortable, if a bit impersonal. Loved the fireplace. Shower and baths are luxurious but not great water pressure and not enough hot water to fill the tub. Aida was helpful with info. Would definitely stay here again."
