"We stayed in late October during an area wide shut down due to a mass shooting in Lewiston the evening after we arrived. We were happy to have been at such a beautiful location with plenty of space to “shelter in place” as opposed to a hotel room. It was a very peaceful setting when the world around us was in chaos. Thankfully we had picked up groceries on our way in. We purchased live lobster when stores re-opened 2 days later & had all the necessary pans to cook it & tools to eat it. The house...

"The motel was a few miles from the Freeport shopping district but parking is free and adequate. The area was safe and very quite."

"Overall the hotel was great. The staff was courteous and friendly. The pool was good and the breakfast was delicious. The only issue was there were noticeable dog barking from a guest room, but fortunately our room was not next to or near them. "

"I wonder if Room 310 was particularly noisy due to the highway traffic throughout the night. I would greatly appreciate being placed in one for my next stay if quieter rooms are available. Additionally, during the summer season, when the heater was not needed, I found that the heater in my room was quite noisy and disruptive throughout the night. It would be wonderful if this issue could be addressed so we can have a more comfortable stay in the future. Thank you!"
