"The "apartment" was fine and the beds were comfortable, but the kitchen consisted of a mini frig next to the beds. Also there were rules about visitors, noise levels were monitored and the terrace door was blocked so you couldn't actually enjoy it. "

Agnes was an AMAZING hostess and the apartment was even better than we had imagined - wonderful location for everything we wanted to do and very comfy to return to after a long day. "Very well located (short walks to Riksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Concertgebouw), on a quiet canal. The Frans Hals apartment is on the back, with a garden view (but no access to the garden), and very quiet. Major negative is tiny bedroom, barely big enough for double bed. Good bathroom and shower, adequate kitchenette. Dishwasher is tricky: won’t start unless upper tray is pushed all the way in, including the tabs at the sides. "

The early luggage storage hotel clerks were very friendly and accommodating. We’d definitely love to stay at Sweets again. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this location. Rooms were clean and spacious, we had no issues finding it and it is very convenient to a station stop for bus/tram/train. The area itself is pretty quiet though there are other hotels and restaurants nearby."

"A bijou property that was originally a bridge house with views across the canal. There is heat which was needed as cold this week. Unfortunately there is traffic noise. There is no sink in bathroom but we squeezed the shower gel to cover our hands and then washed our hands in the bedroom sink. There are cupboards for clothes and cups, plates, cutlery and hairdryer. If you like different you will enjoy this experience."
