"This is a family owned motel and they made us feel like family in that they took great care of us. The family went the extra mile and helped to recover from our section hike. I would gladly stay here again. We stopped at the Trail house kitchen and bar on the way off the Appalachian trail and had the excellent Berkshire burger. A great meal and a great stay who could ask for more."

"The motel room was large, clean and very nicely decorated. My only complaint is that the pool was out of service. Why they chose to chemically treat it over Labor Day weekend is incomprehensible. I chose this hotel specifically for the pool, so I was very disappointed."

"We stayed for 2 nights, staff were very sweet and accommodating. The room was clean, and to us thats priority. It is an older hotel, and very basic which was fine for us. The matresses were a bit too soft for our liking, but we are also use to ultra firm at home so we don't have high expectations for the matresses at any hotel stay. They should note the don't offer a free continental breakfast, although there is a great breakfast restaurant with in walking distance and another about 3 min drive...
