"We loved staying here! The furnishings are modern and the breakfast is quite good. Our room was small, but this was exactly what we needed for exploring the city. A metro and train station are within a five minute walk. There are several high quality restaurants and shops nearby as well. This is an old building with a lot of character - the rooftop garden is unique. Our host (owner) mentioned that Picasso once briefly lived in this building as a youth while his father taught across the street,...

"Staff were very nice and the property was clean. Although the AC in the room I was assigned was broken, and nothing was done to fix or mediate the hot dry air. There was a window but it opened to the narrow center of the building which housed the hvac of other apartments(very noisy and dirty), and half the window was blocked by a stained glass. The room was very small, you can hear everything foot step in the guest house. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Shared bathroom is not ideal."

"This is a beautiful and unique b&b. It is in a 1930s grand building. The ceilings are about 16 feet high, and all the classic details have been preserved. Friendly hosts. Nice breakfast. Balconies in the room, and a big terrace overlooking the city where you can have breakfast in nice weather. In a great neighborhood, and you can walk to many attractions. "

"I could not recommend this hotel any more. Since returning home over 6 months ago I have raved to dozens of people about how amazing and incredible this hotel is and I have recommended every single one of them if they travel to Barcelona, they should stay here. I was here in mid July so the weather was bright and sunny and 30 degrees every day so the air conditioning within the hotel was much needed; I would honestly say that it is some of the best air con I’ve ever had in Europe. "This place is absolutely charming! The staff are amazing! The communication and friendliness of the staff was above and beyond. The room is beautiful, we felt right at home. Breakfast in the morning is delicious. The terrace is beautiful to enjoy breakfast and the sunshine. HIGHLY recommend! When we visit Barcelona in the future we will definitely return! "

"This property was overbooked and given to a couple. The host try to provide me a place to stay but it was in a kitchen and and improvised bed. Not able to book another place due the short notice and availability."
