"Loved that we were so close to Bunratty castle. We walked and there were lots of families out and about and it felt extremely safe. The owner of the property was very nice and obliging. The rooms and hotel had a lot of cottage charm. Breakfast was lovely. The owner himself served made us breakfast, having our table set up and ready for our party at the time requested. Very nice."

"Wonderful hotel. Absolutely fantastic location. Literally next to the Shannon Airport, Ireland. Just a short walk across the paved crosswalk to the airport terminals. The hotel offered luggage dollies for free. We used a couple of them to transport our luggage across the parking lot to the airport when we checked out and we were able to just leave them at the airport. The hotel staff stated they go over to the airport and bring them back as a service they offer to their guests. Also very convenient to the airport rental car counters for rental car pick up/drop off. The staff was so very nice and helpful. The dinner selections at the bar, the night we stayed, were delicious and the breakfast bar/buffet had a great selection of quick cold items, as well as hot buffet options, coffee, tea and juice. We traveled with small children and the hotel bar had children's dinner menu options and plenty of breakfast options for picky little ones. The only real drawback was that all our rooms were up a small flight of stairs and there is no lift. But, the desk clerk called the bell hop and he schlepped our bags up to our rooms for us so, problem solved. Of course, we tipped him well for his assistance. The only improvement I would suggest would be a dairy free "milk" option for coffee, tea and breakfast. We are lactose intolerant. Free bottled water in the room would also be a plus. We highly recommend this hotel, especially if you have an early flight out of Shannon Airport the next day."

"Loved the town of Adare and loved the Dunraven. Classic older hotel, full of class, history and charm. Go to the Bunratty Medieval Banquet! So-much-fun! We loved every minute of it!"

"We just needed a stop over night and this hotel was in perfect location for us. We did not have to or need to go into town. Very clean, friendly helpful staff and I have to highlight an excellent breakfast. We will return. "

"The staff were incredibly kind and assisted me with the local bus and train timings, even flagging that bus fare is cash-only and they broke my large bill. Top notch service from everyone that I interacted with at the hotel. It was very humid and although there is no a/c, my room had a fan. The bed was very comfortable and it was one of the most spacious rooms I stayed in Scotland. The bathroom was extremely clean. The pub is great and has live musicians playing traditional music. Highly recommend staying here!"
