Exploring. We decided to check out Fox Island after visiting family in Gig Harbor. I was surprised that it’s almost completely residential. We saw a Shell gas station on the way back to the bridge but otherwise it was mostly houses and land. We almost stopped by their museum ($1 suggested donation) but it closed minutes before we would have reached it...

"My son and I came stay a couple of days in Gig Harbor and were so very lucky to rent this property. One of the most amazing rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The owners were also very accommodating by offering an additional air mattress for my son. Will definitely be looking forward to staying here again if they will have us."

"This place was amazing. Super clean, modern, and had everything we needed. The views were absolutely unreal, and the lake access made it even better.We spent hours out on the kayaks, hot tub, gazebo and there were so many great spots in the property to just hang out and have fun with friends. The games were a hit too.Honestly, we were so surprised by how great everything was — way beyond what we imagined. We’ll definitely be coming back."

"We enjoyed cozy fires and water life views in this unique beach house. Accommodations were perfect for my family! Lovely kitchen, loved the views from every room...even in mixed PNW weather. Best part was looking for shells, crabs, and seastars at low tide. Great place!"

"We loved our stay here! The house had everything we needed for a short lovely staycation, and even enjoyed using the bbq grill. The house is spacious and has gorgeous natural light all throughout. We loved the open floor plan along with the lower level TV sitting area and it had a separate game room. The views of the harbor were spectacular and being only one block away from shops and restaurants made for a very convenient location. "
