A Great Value
First of all, let me say that I got a clean place to sleep and a fine breakfast for a VERY good price. The owner of the property very friendly and was always asking if there was something that she could do for us. The WIFI was located in our room, so the signal was very strong. I would definitely stay there again. That being said, there were a few things that made out stay less than perfect. First of all, our room was very small. So small that the bed took up almost the whole room. This made it hard to move around. Also, the bathroom that we were assigned was downstairs and our room was upstairs. Our hostess said we could use the bathroom assigned to other guests when they weren't around, but I thought that would be rude, so we never did it. In our bathroom, the bathtub was very small, so you really could only shower there. The shower was a hand-held thing that didn't attach, so you either had to hold it all the time, or put it on the floor of the tub. Finally, as far as I could tell, the television in the room was only for playing videos and not for regular TV. To me, these things weren't a big deal, but I could see where they might be for others. All in all, if you're looking for a place to stay on a budget, I think this is a good fit.

A Uniquely Sweet Memory
Just what we were looking for. My husband and I were kicking around in rural Indiana and wanted to spend a night or two away from Chicago but not at a highway exchange in a hotel that would make us forget where we were. June's bed-and-breakfast is true to its name, providing all the charm and sincerity we were hoping for. She'll make you eggs and pancakes, and the meal could come with juice and a fruit cup you didn't expect. Request hot chocolate, and you get a nice little pot of your own. This isn't one of those costly over-produced Disneyfied B&B's with every corner ready to have its picture taken. Here you'll feel more like you're at your aunt's house in the country. You can also buy affordable little antique souvenirs out of a glass case right in the dining room. REMEMBER TO PAY HER BY CASH OR CHECK BEFORE YOU LEAVE!

Business trip to Fowler
This is a decent B&B on a quiet historic street in Fowler, IN. As I was working in Fowler, this was a great place to stay. The owner, June, is a nice lady. Breakfast was wonderful, made to my order, and served on fine china! Accessibility is an issue as there are 6 steps to get in the front door, then 2 steps to a landing, then 13 steps upstairs. Note - You will be carrying your luggage yourself. This is a house filled with antiques and old stuff so be prepared for that look. The bed was very comfortable. I was assigned the downstairs bathroom with a handheld shower. It certainly did the job, but just be prepared as this is not a hotel room. Overall, a decent place but the antiques were a little overwhelming. Very quiet.

Quiet, comfy sleep
The quietest street in America! We slept soundly in this cozy house. June was very welcoming even though we arrived quite late at night. She had the front door open and lights on, so we knew which house on the block it was as we drove up. We were the only ones staying there and so we had the bathroom to ourselves, otherwise it would have been a shared situation. June made a lovely omelet for breakfast with toast and a cup of fruit and great coffee. She is a very pleasant lady and we were grateful for her hospitality.

Charming
June is a wonderful hostess and very accommodating and kind, going the extra mile. Loved hearing the history, learning about the community and enjoying the quiet and restfulness of a small town. Great experience!
