"We always stay at Hampton when we travel. However, recently, I have begun to notice an unpleasant trend. Has there recently been a company memo sent out to your locations that require the front desk staff NOT to smile and NOT to in anyway indicate that they are happy the customer is checking in?? Good Lord, is their job so miserable that they act like they have been on duty for 36 straight hours? I am a business owner and I realize how hard it is to get decent employees. But geez, can’t they smile for at least the first 3 seconds after contact? Sorry, but thought you would want to know! "

"Beautiful property & loft. Our young boys and dog loved roaming the property- fishing, catching crawfish, and exploring. Very quiet & peaceful for the adults. It was about 90 degrees during our stay so the loft AC was much appreciated. Jay & Heather are great hosts and so were their pups. Very hot & humid weather so we had to battle the bugs, but it’s to be expected in the country. Recommend bug spray in the summer months. "
