"Stayed at Shooting Star Casino on September 6 and had a great experience. I use a wheelchair and the accessible room worked perfectly. Staff were wonderful — they moved my mom’s room next door to mine and even provided her a wheelchair so she didn’t have to walk far. We also enjoyed a good meal at the restaurant. Excellent service and very accommodating! They. Could use more handicap parking. "

"Beautiful property. Kind of tucked back from the highway. Had deer through the yard in the evening. House was very welcoming with a curated mix rustic and modern decor. Was close to a family event in nearby town so worked out perfectly. "

The property was very clean, welcoming and had a lot of extra touches, like firewood, games, books, WiFi, friendly pets who loved to visit and snuggle. Would definitely recommend staying here. "We stayed at Cabin Elenor, and loved how cozy it was. Spacious for a family of 3, plenty of board games, movies, and books as well. They also had a full kitchen with supplies, and fully running refrigerator and water. Bathroom was clean and was supplied with hygiene items as well. The only con inside the cabin was that the sink in the bathroom was backed up, and started filling with dirty water right away, so we had to brush and wash our hands in the kitchen sink. The outside was wonderful. It has a deck you can walk directly out to, and we ate breakfast there outside and enjoyed the scenery. They also had a nice little fire pit right outside the cabin, which was surrounded by large boulders; it made it feel very warm and secluded. They also have plenty of trails for hiking, riding an ATV, and playing area for children, which included a swing set just a short walk from the cabin, as well as a half court basketball court and hoop. Many things to love about this place! We will be back someday."

"The peace and quite was needed. Had a fire one evening while we looked at every star in the sky. Spent our days in Itasca on the water and went for dinner in Park Rapids. Overall awesome location and far better then tent camping. "
