"Stunning property with beautiful views. Very quiet area! House was very clean and the garden was beautiful . We did not have a car , but Diego helped us communicate with the local taxi service. Taxi took us into the town of Barga when we needed and picked us up ! Diego was also very quick to respond and willing to help out with anything we needed . Great experience. Thank you !"

We wanted to have dinner there, but restaurant was unfortunately closed for dinner over the weekend. On last night, a big bus load of teenage students...

"My spouse and I held our wedding here and it was beyond perfect. We are from the states and had a group of 20 join us for the weekend of our wedding. The villa was more perfect than we all imagined! The owners were very friendly and Marie the coordinator was amazing. Our wedding dinner was made by the owner and it was so delicious. I couldn’t recommend this property more- we can’t wait to go back one day."

"While it takes a little bit of getting to this place, it is beautiful and sublime. Poggio is a small commune set on a hill overlooking the beautiful Serchio Valley. The views from the back porch in this unit are truly spectacular. You can see the valley and the neighboring villages, many of which have hillside fortresses and churches. "I looked carefully for a spacious rural property with the right combination of rooms for a group of friends, walking distance from a small town as we didn’t have a car, this was exactly what I wanted. A peaceful and beautiful rustic house a short walk from delightful Barga with shops, restaurants and art galleries. Thank you, it was the perfect spot to relax for a few days."

"We rented all three houses for 12 people, which worked very well. The grounds and the area are typically Tuscan, very charming and beautiful. The propertymanager is very helpful and available. The poolarea is particularly nice and the teenagers spent all day there :-) Nearby you’ll find Lucca, winetasting, hiking and many other activities. Highly recommendable."

"It's a long drive up winding hills, but once you arrive in Sassi, you can forget about all your worries, sit back and relax. The main farmhouse and the cottage are both well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool was a godsend on especially hot days, especially for the children, who spent hours playing Marco Polo and other water games well into the evening. Our host was extremely helpful and was a walking encyclopedia of information about the surrounding areas, too....

On last night, a big bus load of teenage students checked-in that was very noisy until about midnight. But I more so blame it on the teachers/supervisors who should have been better at controlling the kids. Oh well ..."
