"We only stayed one night after six days of camping, but overall we had a good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and we had no issues with it. There was a small problem at check in because, somehow, my reservation was made for two rooms instead of one. The staff resolved it and refunded the extra room, which I appreciated. The only downside was that construction started in a room just one door down from us at 7:00 a.m. If we had been staying longer, that probably would have been an issue. Fortunately, we were already up early packing to leave. On the bright side, it was nice to see they are remodeling and updating the rooms."

"The room was very spacious and clean. 3 king beds was what drove me to this property and I so glad I did! Area felt safe, hotel was well kept and clean. Often times there was no staff in the front desk, had to wait for someone to come out of the back but that was the only slight inconvenience. There was a guy there with curly hair that was at the desk consistently and helped with requests. Very friendly. I would definitely stay here again! So glad I found this gem."

"This was a cute hotel. Having a balcony was my favorite part. Rates on the coast in the summer are high everywhere but this was cheaper than some because of its location in Sand City. It was easy to get everywhere I wanted to go in Monterey and Carmel by the Sea. The room was very nice and the bathroom was exceptional with two separate areas. The staff was very nice and let me check in early. There was a very nice outside area where there was even a group exercise class one night. My room had a view of the ocean."
