"Birding for the accidental birder was fascinating--from the canyon towhees, to the lesser goldfinches, the white-crowned sparrows, the barn swallows, several species of dove, the curve-billed thrasher, the vermillion flycatcher (what a beauty), and the four to six blue grosbeaks playing in the sprinkler"

"The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was nice. We went there before the busy season so sometimes there was no one on property but we just waited for them to show up. Over all it was a wonderful experience. We would stay there again. "

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Blue Agave and like the last 2 times it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Very comfortable cottage that is very well maintained. Really appreciate the owner letting us bring our dogs. Not too many place allow that in Fort Davis. We will return again. One concern was the lock box that the key was in. We got the key out just fine but we could get the key back in the lock box or reinsert the lock box. So I had to leave the key under the doormat when we departed. We also noticed a few dead roaches every morning. No live ones just dead ones. These are minor details and would not prevent us from returning. We look forward to our visit next year."
