"This house was perfect! It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We did not have a need. We even had a bonus Barn Dance a couple blocks away! We had a blast! Highly recommended."

"When I was first looking for a place to stay I must admit that as soon as I saw a picture of the back porch and the view I was hooked. A look at the other photographs confirmed my choice and we were not disappointed in the flesh either. The two bedrooms are a good size and we were really pleased with the bed that we had and I know our friends felt the same way about theirs. The kitchen is well stocked and perfect for actually cooking! The dining living area is lovely, comfortable and full of a life well traveled. The views were super and I enjoyed watching the dawn everyday we were there. It would have been nice to have found a few more shops open in Fort Davis but I know this is not peak season for that and even that couldn't spoil anything! It is 14 years since we were last in Ft Davis and we will plan a return trip much quicker! It was a wonderful truly relaxing and delightful stay and absolutely made by the place we were staying in. Thank you!!"

"This place was amazing. We arrived at 2 am and got in no problem. The beds were incredible. I took photos of the tags so i could buy them myself. Also the seating areas we so charming. Sad the restaurant isn't open anymore but good on the property for maintaining history."

"Cozy, comfortable house. Comfortable beds. Well-stocked kitchen with good utensils and pots and pans. Quiet atmosphere. Starry skies. Convenient to McDonald Observatory, Marfa, Alpine, Marathon. Check out the Ft. Davis Public Library--what a gem!"
