That said, these were really the only drawbacks. Overall, the hotel was clean, the staff were genuinely friendly, and our room felt updated, comfortable, and well-maintained. "Would have been nice to be aware of remodeling. It was old, no locks for the entrance doors at night. Breakfast was adaquate. For price I paid poor. "

"Please read before reserving. This property was extremely dirty in all common areas, hallways, elevators and even the room itself. The floor in the room I know had not been cleaned since I spilled some water & wiped up with a rag & it was dark brown. The light switches and walls had stuff all over them. The rooms are not insulated at all since you could hear everything in the hallways even people yelling & slamming doors at 1:30am. The bathroom faucet leaked & spilled over the vanity. Bed was very uncomfortable. If this Avid hotel represents the quality of the chain I will never stay at one of their hotels again. Sadly I read the reviews & none of these were mentioned. If we had not arrived late in the evening I would of left & requested a refund. Also mention the lobby floors needed cleaning & garbage cans were overflowing with trash. Will end with one nice comment the coffee was good."

"Room was very clean, very large. My mom was with me in a wheel chair. She is in a wheel chair, and could very easily roll around the room. Staff was very helpful. This is always our stop along with way for our stay in Florida"
