"Enjoyed our few days at the hotel. Nice rooms with very comfortable bed. Good facilities in the room but no safe. Breakfast was good - pretty standard. Pastries were not great - pain-au-chocolat and croissants were disappointing. We had a couple of meals in the bar. The burgers were not good. Tasted like very processed meat. Pizza was good. Service in the evening in the bar was a bit hit and miss. One evening, the server was busy chatting to another guest so never got to serve us. Grounds are excellent and the golf course is a nice challenge."

"Loved the children’s free ice or fruit . Children’s play area at breakfast. Dog friendly. Loved the warm pool and hot tub. I’m diabetic and had a low blood sugar. The man at the pool helped me . The lady at the bar read the list of about 15 favourers of ice cream . She was lovely. We had stay for funeral in the area . Would stay again"

"Just down the road from the train station which was a result. Good size family room for 3 blokes. Great shower No breakfast though apart from a brunch bar each and a small carton of OJ but there is a premier inn for breakfast options just opposite the station. Good pub across the road too"
