"It’s a home stay not hotel. No receptionist, pickup driver does it all. I doubted very much this place has any license to host foreigners. The surrounding area is terrible, in an alley, fear to stay and worried for safety. The pictures shown on Hotel,com is totally misleading. For foreigners, it’s hard to find any transportation or taxi to go anywhere (no local cellphone). I basically couldn’t run fast enough to get out of that place. "

"We checked in really fast, check in on the third floor. There were no hassle at all. We came by bullet train Xi a north station, we got on the no.2 metro train and got off at Xingzheng Zhong xin station, this is a really big station, we got directed to the other side of the hotel, get of the metro and exit from C5 and the hotel is about 200 metres on the right side of the City On shopping mall. Our stay include breakfast, however if you are looking for western breakfast there aren't many options, just try the Chinese food there are pretty good and decent. We have a spacious room on the 18th floor. Staff members are very friendly, the only down thing for me was the air-con it is a central air-con so I had to ring the front desk and ask them to turn it down. We had to extend our stay at the hotel and got an upgrade because I book through online without the supreme room price. ^.^"

"I was treated well here, the room was nice clean and the bed very comfortable the breakfast buffet had a great selection and everything was served at the right temperature. If you are going here as a tourist you will not find anything close for sightseeing. It is a very quiet neighborhood if your looking for a peaceful retreat "

" Had truly memorable 7-night stay at the JW Marriott Xi’an. This new property is beautiful, and it clearly befits the JW Brand. Its location is also very good. There is a big mall next door, and the metro is a 5-minute walk that can conveniently take you anywhere in the city. The staff here are truly exceptional. Every staff member that I have met and has been very friendly and helpful. I will just mention a few examples: 1. Eddie from the front desk always went beyond his duty to help me navigate to certain locations by writing instructions so that don’t get lost. 2. Jenny from the JW Kitchen . Very morning made me feel welcome and no request during breakfast was too hard. 3. Lilly, Demi. And Nana from the executive lounge . All 3 ladies willing to go beyond their duty To help and show genuine interest in how your day has been I nearly forgot to mention that the the food provided in the lounge during happy hour is excellent. It's a buffet dinner. I can highly recommend JW Marriott Xi’an due to its wonderful staff and the other mentioned reasons "
