"Best views for sunset"

"Very good boutique style hotel a good restaurant/ bar and pool. Good location. Excellent breakfast though not included. My only disappointment was that there was no desk with chair in the room. I used a chair from the room’s balcony but I really missed having a desk and proper computer style adjustable chair which is typically standard in most hotels. One minor issue was on day of checkout - the room key would not open the door at 10:30am."

"The hotel had all of the features I expect from Comfort Suites. In my room, I especially appreciated the step-in shower with a glass door and the lighting in the room. The lights were bright enough for various tasks along with indirect, softer options. The hotel is in a good location, close to the mall with many restaurant options."

"The main pool was out of order but nobody bothered to mention it when we checked in. On top of that our room smelled like sewage. The staff was quick to move our room and offer some complimentary drinks due the pool situation, so I appreciate that, but the “luxury” is certainly lacking at this property. Piece of advice, clean the stairs to the water slide and at least skim the broken pool with a net so guests dont have to look at all the nasty crap floating in the water, even if its not useable."

"Great place to stay! Perfect centralized location if you’re like us as first timers to Tucson. A great home base to hit all the highlights Tucson offers. Terry and Bob could not have done a better job of making us feel welcome and helping to make sure our stay went without a hitch."

"Upon arrival and attempting to check-in, the key was not in its assigned keybox and I was unable to get in contact with the owner. When I finally got into the space, it smelled of stale cigarette smoke. I used aerosolized air fresheners to remove the smell. Initial inspection of the apartment revealed a number of small cockroach like insects. A tenant/friend of the host placed some mats that were supposed to address this concern, but I continued seeing them throughout my stay, including a large one coiled in the shower two nights before my departure. Two nights later while showering, I overheard Tucson police attempting to detain a tenant in a nearby unit. Two nights after that, while unloading groceries from my car, I came out to see a racial slur etched into the dust on the back window of my car. Having parked in front of the security camera, I requested the host run the footage to determine who was responsible. It ended up being teenagers belonging to another tenant in the building. In the week leading up to check out, I began to notice small, 1mm like itchy bumps on my hand. Having had a previous experience with bedbugs, I am very familiar with suspicious presentations and began to look out for signs of an infestation. I slept in my vehicle the final evening of my stay because I was not going to be able to stay in the unit. Loaded my car up, went to work, and went back home from there. All parties involved should be ashamed. Truly an embarrassing show of business."

"The walls are pretty thin and you can hear neighbors walking above you and flushing the toilet, etc. But the host, the cleanliness and the location make up for all of that. Just be advised… It's a bit noisy on the first floor condos"

"We had an amazing stay! Descriptions and pics were very accurate and the house was so clean and charming. They even provided a high chair and baby gate for our son. Had several kids tableware and toys too. Such a lovely touch, which made our stay so enjoyable. The pool and spa were great (well used!) and overall, the layout and amenities in the home were perfect for our family. Less than 5 minutes from grocery stores, walgreens and starbucks. The host was really nice, and communicative. They sent a detailed welcome book in advance, which helped us plan, and were available throughout the stay with any questions we had. Highly recommend this home if you're staying in the Tucson area! "
