It’s so peaceful. It is rural so a car is vital but a local restaurant is a 10 min walk away. Thank you Peter & Monika for letting us stay and we hope one day to return. "

"Absolutely beautiful. Well worth getting out of the super touristy areas for piece and quiet. It closely resembles Ojai Valley Inn in California, but far more affordable. Fantastic for kids where you can let them roam without fretting. This hotel isn’t close to anything but what you get in exchange is peace and relaxation. We stayed at the Conrad 15km away and preferred the Viceroy."

"What a beautiful villa and surrounding area. The pool area and terrace are just perfect.It has a really homely feel and the owner is quick to respond and lovely with it.The bar / food place at the end of the road is amazing especially if you like fish and meat dishes. Plenty of pool space for kids,Plenty if space for our blend of grandparents and two families. Thank you we had a wonderful time "

"First, I will comment about the "team" at Casa Yeanos. Eddy contacted us several time before and during our stay to insure we were happy and had everything we needed. The property manager met us to tour the property when we checked in and again when we checked out. They were always available to answer questions or offer recommendations. There are others such as the housekeeper, gardener, and pool person you could see during your stay. The property is in the hills above Faro. It's a walled property with a security gate and private parking. Depending on the time of day it could take up to 30 minutes to get to the old town of Faro where many excellent restaurants are located. I would like to mention Le Marquis as being the best dining experience while atayinf at Casa Yaenos. It's about a 10 minute drive from the property. It's French inspired and totally worth the slightly higher costs. The house is large enough for most families and small groups. It was only me and my spouse on this trip so we had more than enough room to spread out. The outside area is very nice (in spring, Summer, and early fall. The pool is large enough to accomodate children on one end and floating adults on the other end. There are no close neighbors to impinge on your privacy. The kitchen is adequately equipped (average VRBO) to allow cooking but you will need to supply your own spices. The bedrooms are well sized with baths in suite. We totally enjoyed our stay at Casa Yaenos. "

"Lovely spacious property, perfect for our family holiday. We really appreciated the large bedrooms, all ensuite, and the good sized pool. When we did have an issue the owner and property managers were easy to contact and quick to respond. The villa was clean with lots of extras not included in the listing description; there was very good wifi, Netflix access, board games and books. There is some cosmetic damage in the pool area which needs looking at, but nothing that affected our enjoyment of the property. You definitely need a car to fully enjoy the location, we loved trips into town on market day, a full day at aqualand a visit to the beautiful beach at Praia da Falesia. We enjoyed a wonderful week.Thanks Jo!"
