"Great view but without the onerous drive up mountains like other properties. We’ve done this yearly trip 9 times and stayed all over, but have decided this is the best house for us. It’s 10 minutes from both the NOC and the Almond marina. Also well priced for a house that can sleep 8 of us."

"What a wonderful home and view. The porch overlooking the lake and mountains is the most wonderful place to be. This is a well provisioned and organized home with plenty of pantry space, a great kitchen to work in, large rooms, a fantastic hot tub. The road is paved and makes for good walking. We had a wonderful week at Bear’s View."

"The house is beautiful, clean, and just as described. The road to the cabin was narrow and steep, but definitely worth the drive for the beautiful view. We had a mama bear and two cubs visit us right after we arrived. The kitchen had everything necessary for cooking at the cabin. It was definitely a great experience."

"We did have a few problems finding the place, but the neighbors were wonderful, helping to navigate the mountain. As soon as you start up the mountain you lose Wi-Fi and phone connection. (all stated in the directions but we didn't realize just how quick we would lose service. There was plenty of recreation supplies. The place was pretty and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings, and a fire in the fire pit at night. Bring extra towels if you can. I would recommend it...
