"I had a wonderful stay at Antico Panda. The staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. The building is old, but I already knew that when I booked it online, and it was clean and comfortable. The food was fresh and enjoyable as well. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and major tourist attractions, so it can get a little noisy late at night and during the day, but nothing too alarming. Also, be prepared to hear the church bells ringing every hour, which personally did not bother me at all. "

It was literally steps away from St Mark's Square and centrally located to many of the tourist sites we wanted to visit and our room had a wonderful view overlooking the canal. The staff was very friendly and always available to answer any questions. The breakfast was plentiful with many delicious options. We would definitely stay here again"

"I booked a room at the Adua Hotel, however upon arrival after numerous phone calls, we were finally escorted to the neighboring building along with another couple who arrived at the same time. That building was not well maintained nor attached to the main hotel. The water from the sink in the room drained onto the floor!!!! (There was a piece of tape on the wall that said it was broken.) The room was hot but the attendant did not offer to turn on the AC. We opened the door to the courtyard and were bombarded by mosquitoes. There was no internet service. There was no soap at the sinks and I opened the hall cabinet to get toilet paper.We never saw the Adua Hotel but these furnishings should not be included with their 7.2 rating."

"Love this hotel! Very charming and in a great location. As they have their own dock transport to/from the airport or to the land transportation center is very easy and a real experience. The private water taxi is the very best choice if you have more than light baggage. If the private water taxi is too pricey (150 euro cash from airport the hotel will arrange it) the water “bus” stop is right at there doorstep. The staff was less helpful in arranging transport to our cruise ship. Be sure to know which of the Venice ports your ship is leaving from. Easiest method is private water taxi (70 euro cash) to land travel hub then land taxi to ship."
