This condo in Pier Pointe Villas is steps from the beach (around 100 yards) and pier, making it the perfect retreat for a beach getaway! It has two separate covered decks; one off the living room and one off of the master bedroom on the second floor, both offering marvelous partial ocean and beach views. This is the only two-story condo in Pier Pointe Villas that gives you added privacy and separation from the living area and bedrooms. It also offers guests convenient access to the beach and even an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after spending the day at the beach.

This condo is located less than a block from Center Street and an easy walk to the shops, restaurants, and bars. Sign up for surfing or paddleboard lessons at one of the various rental companies on the island. You'll be half a mile from downtown Folly Beach, a city known of its many beach activities such as swimming, surfing, fishing, beachcombing, and boating. A short 11.5-mile drive will take you to historic downtown Charleston where you can enjoy shopping and fine dining. If you decide to visit Charleston, you must visit The Battery, a stretch along the city’s southern tip, which features a row of Southern-style mansions.

The condo was clean and nicely decorated. Both of the balconies were nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather. The upstairs balcony had a better view of the ocean. The location was perfect for walking downtown or to the beach and pier.

It would be more comfortable to have newer furniture. Seemed to be a little worn. The master bedroom and bath was great! There were a few minor issues the worst being the heat ventOver the bunk beads. It was too hotMost of the time to sleep there because it was broken. Overall it was a great place though.

We really enjoyed our time here! We will be back! All the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the meals we wanted. This location is perfect! It’s so close to center street and just a short easy walk to the Pier! We’re already looking forward to the next time!

We spent 2 weeks at the condo with our college age children and had a great time. The location was perfect - across the street from the beach and close enough to Center Street to walk to the restaurants and shops yet far enough not to hear any noise. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need. We would definitely stay here again.

We come to Folly every year for the Flip Flop Drop and this condo was in the perfect spot. It was a quick walk to Center Street, shops, and the NYE excitement. Being 2 story, it was plenty of space for our group to hang together while also having separate spaces to chill and decompress. Would definitely book here again!

The property was very nice. Location was amazing. All of the shops and restaurants were amazingly close. Very walkable and safe. The inside of the unit was clean and had plenty of space. The interior was a bit dated but clean. The unit gets a little hot at night and they have a rule not to set the thermostat below 72. That was probably the only negative. The rental company was very easy to work with. Overall a very good experience. I would stay there again.

This condo is located across the street from the beach access and 2 blocks from the main shopping area with restaurants. Very nice for a relaxing vacation with our family. A little bit disappointed on CheckIn due to info being incorrect on wifi, laundry left unwashed in the washer, ac not on in unit (which took 24 hours to cool down). Other than the beginning, no other complaints. Very enjoyable time at the beach.

Location, location, location! This condo is a great spot if you’re looking for a convenient, clean, and comfortable stay in the heart of Folly Beach. Kitchen was well-stocked, beach toys for the kids, and pretty much any amenity one could need. We were pleasantly surprised with all that was available based on some other reviews. To be fair, the decor is a bit dated but it’s very comfortable and clean. Beach access is directly across the street - perfect when you have small children and/or aging grandparents. Just a note, the unit provides two parking spaces but they do not allow golf cart parking (though perhaps some do because we saw them.) Just something to keep in mind.

Property was nice good location. However, it would have been nice if the management company had let me know. There was major construction going on in the building right beside us? This wasn't issue all week as they started work at seven am every morning and continued all day. Therefore we were all waking up super early every day of our vacation as well as the infant we had with us could not get good naps during the day. Due to the constant banging and drilling and pressure washing. We would have definitely moved our reservation to another location had we known. I did contact management and they just told " yes they start early every day"

This is our 2nd stay at this condo, and the proximity to the beach and downtown is great. We also got a good deal on the price. Quality of amenities has dropped a bit, tho. The outside shower/hose bib in the parking area has been disconnected so you can’t rinse off sand before entering the condo. A previous tenant had apparently broken the glass top on the coffee table and instead of repairing or replacing it, the ‘carcass’ had just been pushed into a corner of the living room. So there was no coffee table. We reported this, and the carcass was removed, but no replacement was provided during our stay. The light fixture over the balcony off the master bedroom is missing its cover and is just bare bulbs. The faucet in the downstairs tub doesn’t have a positive stop in the off position, so it has to be finessed into position to get it to turn completely off. One of the towel rods in the master bath kept falling out of the holders. We reported all of these issues, so they may have been addressed. It would also be nice to have a Keurig coffee maker. Otherwise, this unit is great as long as you’re not too picky.

This was a family vacation, the location is PERFECT. A block from the restaurants and shops, and across the street from the beach public access. It was perfect for us. There was minor issues, that should have been taken care of and fixed in the condo. We found out when we got there that Ice maker was broken, and it was to be fixed same day we got there, but that never happened. We bought bags of ice daily while we were there. The master bedroom bathroom shower handle are hanging on by a thread, and it took us a bit to figure out how to get it to the right temperature. The second upstairs bathroom has the same issue if not worse as well. Pillows were very uncomfortable, and so was the master bedroom bed also. The instruction for the WIFI didn't work, and we couldn't log in to it. It wouldn't ever show in the available list, but weirdly it did show on the list when we were at the beach. We ended up logging in to the Building main WIFI, which was good enough. The little fixes that this place needs are mostly minor, we would stay here again!
