"Great location inside of Tikal. It took us two full days to see all the main sites in the park. Each day we went back multiple times, staying at the Jungle Lodge made this possible
Issues- there should be a water bottle refill station. The hotel seems to be trying to make money by selling plastic bottles of water, wasteful.
Loud- we stayed three nights, every night something woke us up. A screaming baby, a drunk family reunion, a lost sunrise tour group.
Movie- there is a beautiful theatre room but they play the same documentary every night, and it is not even about Tikal. Why not change it up?
Food- the food is great, but there are four different menus and they are weirdly strict. The bar menu is only available in the bar, pool food only at the pool, restaurant menu only in the restaurant, etc. But it all comes from the same kitchen."
