"If you’re planning to escape the city’s chaos, this is the perfect place to do it. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birdsong and the gentle cascading of a waterfall is an incredible experience. The staff, including Eric and Carla, are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful.
The only inconvenience is that it’s located far from everything and everyone. If you plan on doing any activities in Costa Rica, make sure to plan ahead. Moving around there would be easy with a car.

"Love the property. The restaurant faced the Arenal volcano. You would have breakfast with the amazing view of the volcano. The property was well kept with beautiful flowers, nature and fauna all around. The pool was awesome too. I enjoywd that rhe cabins were independent and not atrached amd gave more privacy and less noise (from the room next door). The cabins were cleaned daily and although the cabins should their roustic decor, but everything was clean, beds were comfortable and no funky odors. They even have a humidifier in the room which made a huge difference. If we go back, we definitely look forward to staying at Lomas again. "

Bryan made any and ALL requests so easy, and Reuben took us on a hike and horse back riding trip and they were perfect. We felt a sense of exploration and relaxation all at times. The town of chachaugua is only a short distance away and had a fantastic little soda with pizza and empanadas, and a ice cream shop that had $1 ice cream… I cannot say enough about how special this hotel and staff is.
