"The location sits beside the river Ouse. Beautiful location. Restaurants, shops, mall, all nearby. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was immaculate and checked in with me daily to see if I needed anything. The restaurant was fabulous, outside seating and reasonably priced. I made this home for two weeks while I visited from Seattle. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed and I will definitely return here when I come back again. Highly recommended!"

"I stayed at the Jester while I was in the area for business. Bas and his chef Derek bent over backwards to accommodate during what was a very difficult time for them at the tail end of the second lockdown. With no other staff to support them, and making preparations for the reopening, they still found time to make sure I had access to evening meals and breakfast, despite the fact they had no reason to open the kitchen, just to serve me. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the stables and would definitely consider returning. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and the amenities were a nice addition. However, the air-conditioning unit, which vented out the window, was less effective during our July visit, causing the room to warm quickly. I can only imagine how magical it must be during the cooler months, especially at Christmas! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the lovely restaurant had a diverse menu with plenty of options. We made some fond memories during our stay—thank you!"
