Classic, Three-Story Chalet in the Pines
RELAX in this roomy 3 story A-Frame. PRIVATE yet convenient. Neighbor on one side and abutted by 25 acre greenbelt in the back. Convenience with private space. HANDY LOCATION at the entrance to Kachina Village, 6 miles south of Flagstaff on I-17. Just 1000 yds off the freeway, yet private, surrounded by pine trees with a private 1/3 acre yard.
Kachina Village is surrounded by the Coconino National Forest and miles of great mountain biking and hiking. 45 minutes to Snowbowl Ski Area, to Sedona, to the Anasazi ruins in Wupatki National Monument, and 1.5 hours to the Grand Canyon.
The chalet is a unique, comfortable 2600 sq ft A-frame home. Natural pine and cedar throughout; customized built-ins and special touches such as the sleeping loft, greenhouse, and game room with heated concrete floor. Plus a new Dimension One Dream spa.
Relax in the sunshine on the deck, toast your toes in front of the wood-burning fireplace, shoot some pool, challenge someone to a fierce match at the foosball table...or just soak in the hot tub and curl up to read in one of the private corners.
We have a large -1/3 acre -fenced yard to make your dogs feel welcome if they are coming along. There is a small one time pet fee for the extra cleaning.
There is a studio apartment above the garage, which is separate from the house and has its own entrance around back. The apartment is on the opposite side of the house from the yard and hot tub, so you have privacy. The renter parks in front of the garage.

This is our second time staying here with our grandsons for our Christmas getaway. The kids go to the Snowbowl while we just hang back at the cabin and cook. We'll be back!
My spouse and I came up to Flagstaff for the week. House is spacious as and had everything we needed. Lots of games, books and activities to keep you occupied.
THIS CABIN IS SO LOVELY AND COZY WE COME EVERY WINTER AND GO SNOWBOARDING AND HANG OUT PLAYING ALL THE GAMES THEY HAVE! OWNER IS AWESOME SO FRIENDLY WE WILL BE BACK
THANK YO
Unique property with a great hot tub. It was quiet and secluded. There were a lot of spider webs inside the house, but it was otherwise very tidy. The heated floors in the bathroom and game room were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.
We’ve stayed at the chalet many many times over the years but we moved away during Covid and once we were back on the West Coast it was the first place we wanted to visit. The moment we walked in our entire family made the comment how it smelled the same, which is a good thing, it literally feels like a second home to our family! We love the game room, jacuzzi, fireplace and just the feel of decompressing from our busy lives to be in a peaceful and cozy environment. We always leave refreshed and looking forward to our next trip! A huge thanks to the owners for communicating about weather, the house and also being receptive whenever we’ve ever had an issue or notified them of a problem, y’all are the best!!
Great little property with everything we needed. The property managers were helpful and great communicators. Very nice neighborhood close to everything we wanted to do.
It is a beautiful property and very well located. Only 10 minutes from Flagstaff, half an hour from Williams and "Bearizona", and 1 hour and a half from the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed them all. The game room was fantastic! Evenings in the chalet playing pool, ping pong, and foosball made it a terrific family outing. Thank you very much, Jim and VRBO.
This cabin was perfect for our getaway. Our dogs & kids loved the fenced in yard. Jim was easy to get a hold of and so hospitable. We had a great weekend!
The house was perfect for a snowy weekend. The kids loved the game room and it was a perfect cozy spot during the winter storm.
We hope to come back next year!
The cabin was awesome we will go back next year for snow boarding New furniture was very comfortable enjoyed pool table and hot tub!!!!!
host is so nice and friendly
We had a fun filled family stay with 8 of us and plenty of room to move around in. Had about a foot of snow which for us Phoenixites was a rare treat. It was beautiful!
The home was in great shape and clean all the rooms were very warm and the fireplace gave a great home like warmed. We enjoyed playing pool and foosball in the game room. Getting into a hot jacuzzi in the middle of winter was an awesome experience. We hope to do this again next year.

Chalet
I really enjoyed my stay. Chris and Jim were both so kind and accommodating. They were really nice to work with. The only feed back I have is that we would have really liked to have had access to the garage and long driveway it was hard to fit two trucks and two trailers comfortably in the space the guests are allowed to use.
The chalet is a very uniquely designed home with a spacious floor plan and nice furnishings.. It features a large dining table, wood burning fireplace, large skylights, wood & tile floors, a well-equipped kitchen, great appliances, and a large game room. It has a large fenced back yard with tall pines and is in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood for being close to I-17. We enjoyed relaxing and having breakfast on the large front porch. There is a nice big bedroom on the main floor and more rooms upstairs. [FYI: not handicap friendly -- there are stairs, several levels and a sunken, step down remodeled/gorgeous shower.] Our host was great and we really enjoyed our stay!

Lots to do
I celebrated my 70th birthday on Labor Day weekend. We live in Phoenix so going to Flagstaff and spending 5 days in the cool weather was a real treat. My family came up for the weekend and we had a great time. There is lots to do in the cabin and it kept my teenage granddaughters off their phones (most of the time). They loved the hot tub, ping pong table, pool table and Foosball. There is a park across the street and 2 stores within walking distance. It was nice that our dogs could come with us and there is a nice hiking trail nearby which we walked everyday. The cabin is very comfortable and is well stocked. We really loved it!!!
This is a great cozy property with all that we needed for the most part. Games for teens with pool table and fuzeball. Hot tub! Cozy beds! Fireplace! Needs some better cleaning as was quite dusty in many places and smelled of humidity . It is rustic though. Plus missing some usual kitchen things that seem to be in most VRBO s like oil that is not past date, and a few more condiments etc that would be useful for travellers .overall great place if they could clean bit better and get rid of humidity smell.
