"This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

"This was perfect for a one night stay. At £78 per night I guess that’s a mid price range for pub accommodation. It was a lovely spacious, clean room.
My only criticism would be that the whole accommodation area would benefit from from some redecoration as it looked a little tired. "
"We liked the Superb location near Aysgarth Falls and the views of countryside around & nature walks.
However the accommodation though high quality was overpriced and the bar & restaurant meals & service did not match the high prices.

"Cottage was just as described and perfect for the two of us. Lovely kitchen with everything we needed and the bedroom and bed were exceptional. Vida and Tim were wonderful hosts, unintrysive but always available. Lovely family too. They even provided great weather. We found the location the perfect gateway to the dales and surrounding areas. Cannot wait to go back. We know where we will be staying that is for sure"
"It is beautiful property, elegantly presented and fully equipped. Delightful hosts in a gorgeous countryside location only 25 mins to the centre of Ripon. Guests with significant mobility challenges might need to be aware of the sunken bath / shower. The beds and bed linen were high quality and very comfortable. We'd love to return. "

"Great property, spacious, beautifully appointed, set in a gorgeous garden with open views across to the hills. Loved it for a family gathering - everything we needed. Enjoyed walking by the stream and spotting wildlife. Will be back!"

Our stay was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. Sean was a wonderfully welcoming host.
