"Loved that we were out in the country, plenty of space in the rooms etc. what would have been helpful was info on electrical outlets, they need to be individually turned on! And some info on what is recycled would have helped. Overall the rustic experience was delightful!"

"We stayed at the Historic Hideaway for two nights with another couple. The apartment was clean and well decorated and we loved the exposed stone walls. We weren’t going to attempt getting the car into the drive, but we were able to find parking on the street with a parking disc. Since we were away most of the daytime hours, this never presented an issue (though we knew of the nearby parking garage, if we needed it.) The host also had great local recommendation. We would definitely stay here...

"Daisy’s cottage was the perfect space for our group of six adults. We enjoyed the kitchen space and the ability to eat in after long days exploring the area. Three bathrooms was also a huge plus! The cottage is convenient to Cork City, Cobh, and even a reasonable drive to Waterford. You definitely need a car if staying here. The property manager was great and easy to get in touch with! A lovely, quiet place for your Co. Cork adventures!"

"Windows were dirty and there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. The internet did not work in the two bedrooms on the bottom floor. It was hard to lock and unlock the front door. Other than that it was okay."

"Our home at castlemartyr was beautiful. It was very spacious and the support from Martina and Anna was top notch! The resort was gorgeous and had a little bit of everything from lovely acres of walking trails, a spa, golf, restaurants and more. Given that this was all on property it was perfect for our family because my husband was able to golf one morning and I was able to go to the spa in the afternoon all while relaxing with our daughter in the house. It is within driving distance to Cork...

"It was extremely hot in the apartment when we arrived and could not get it to cool down. lots of spiders."

"On arrival and on opening the front door, there is an overwhelming fusty smell of damp this emanates from the flat roof in the kitchen and Bathroom damp signs are visible on the ceiling and around the bath sealant. The back door does not open thereby closing off a secondary escape route, there was a note left saying that the door would be repaired that week however it was undated and there are no obvious signs of this work being done. "Lovely place to stay but the place is looking a bit tired. Had problems with the hot water not working to start off with. Lacking the basic welcome items ie said there would be milk coffee and tea etc. No milk no coffee just tea. Instruction of how to get there very in accurate but lucky a very friendly local showed us where we had to go. But we did enjoy our stay very much"
