Delightful bungalow in a beautiful village setting.

A lovely bungalow on the outskirts of a traditional Irish village, Kilfinane.
It is set very close to the Ballyhoura mountain range, and within easy reach of all of south-west Ireland major attractions.
You are walking distance from the restaurants and bars of the village, driving distance to the towns of Kilmallock and Mitchelstown.
The house itself has three bedrooms, two doubles and a children's room with a set of bunk beds and extra single bed. Central heating and free WIFI.
Ideal for a family, the perfect base to see all the beautiful sites of Ireland.

Loved our host Colin. He was very helpful and quickly responded to our questions. The location is great for a central place in Ireland. Quiet street with easy parking. The beds were comfortable and the bungalow had everything we needed. The only thing that might need some changing is the front door lock. We used the back door. There was a very helpful book with instructions. But, some of the instructions were outdated. Any questions or concerns, the host was easily available to help.

Es war ein schöner gut eingerichteter Bungalow. Vor der Haustür war immer Platz um zwei Autos zu parken. Es hat uns an nichts gemangelt und wir hatten mit 7 Personen ausreichend Platz dort. Die Wohnung war auch mit einem Heft ausgestattet, in dem man die Umgebung kennen lernen konnte.

Beautiful town

We had the best time! We used this as a home base to be able to travel around to all the sites in the central and southern parts of the country. A few hiccups figuring out the hot water but the host was right on things getting back to me immediately. We loved the pubs here, OKellehers and Healy's and met some locals that we hope to remain friends with...absolutely wonderful time and the house was spacious and clean.

There's absolutely nothing we don't like about the place. Perfect location, enough room for the whole family and spotlessly clean. Keep up the good work.

Vacances en famille fin décembre

Les photos correspondent bien à la réalité.La maison est au calme, accessible à pied au centre, bien équipée et les chambres sont spacieuses. La salle de bain est humide, nous avons trouvé l'interrupteur de ventilation au dessus de la porte dans le couloir. Le chauffage a bien fonctionné.Nous avons rencontré des problèmes avec l'eau chaude sur 2 matinées, le propriétaire a été réactif pour nous expliquer la procédure mais il a fallu attendre que l'eau rechauffe. Nous avons hélas eu la surprise de subir des coupures d'eau au réveil : une première fois de 23h à 8h40 et la 2eme de 7h30 à 11h40! Rien n' était mentionné sur le site de distribution des eaux. Cela nous a valu 3 matinées de visite en moins.A part ce désagrément, nous avons passé un bon séjour en Irlande.

Family catch up

The bungalow was perfect for our stay whilst visiting family in the surrounding areas. Great value for money when there is a group of you and parking right outside your door. Contact with Colin the host was very good and the whole process couldn’t have been easier. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Great!

Great communication, very comfortable. We loved walking around the Ballyhoura mountains. Very convenient location for us, as we had to be in Limerick one day and Cork the next. Would happily stay again. Definitely go to the Aldi or another big supermarket before arriving to town—there’s only a small grocery store in town.

Het huis is fantastisch en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Voor de kinderen zijn er heel wat spelletjes voorzien en dat heeft hen plezier gedaan. Je hebt ook een mooi uitzicht. Vanuit Kilfinane kan je gemakkelijk enkele daguitstappen plannen. Ik raad het zeker aan! Colin is zeer vriendelijk

Nice and comfortable house in little cute village

The house is located in a beautiful context with easy access to Ballyhoura trekking and cycling ways, it is not far from Limerick, Cork and Tipperary allowing to easily visit this part of Ireland. The house has everything you need and it was much appreciated by the kids because well equipped with a variety of games.

A little slice of Irish heaven

This cottage was the perfect place for my son and I to stay and go out to visit Cork, Limerick and Kilkenny. Extremely comfortable place to stay and wonderful communication with the owner as we had a couple of things we had questions about. Loved Kilfinane, even though we didn't spend much of our week there. But views and ambiance were great to come home to each evening.

Ticked the boxes

I was looking for a good value stay as a base for myself, my brothers and their partners for us to go to a few events in Limerick. The bungalow ticked all the boxes. Spacious rooms, equipped well enough for a few days stay for us, longer would have been fine. Good internet, easy parking on the street outside. It's the last house on a dead-end road, so no traffic. The shop in the village is only a short walk away and is well stocked.

Das Haus war sauber und gut eingerichtet. Nicht so schön war, dass in der Küche ein Rauchmelder installiert ist. Beim Backen oder Toasten ging der mehrmals an. Ansonsten schöne ruhige Lage. Der Ort ist in 5 Minuten schnell erkundet. Von hier lassen sich aber Umgebungstouren gut planen und durchführen.

The house was spacious and comfortable. Probably more appropriate for self catering as there’s only Molly’s nearby for meals after lunchtime ((latest 7:00 for takeout)

The proximity of the property to family we were visiting in Kilfinane made it absolutely ideal before we even opened the door! The fact that we have already made a repeat booking speaks to how much we liked about everything else.
