"The pros: Great location. Walking distance to Thames River. Easy to get to from Gatwick Airport. Marks and Spencer’s just up the street. Walking distance to just about anything (seriously, just walk around. It’s the best way to explore London). Good gym with everything you need. Solid breakfast. Arnel who works in the restaurant is the highlight of my morning The cons (I’m knit-picking) Area can feel busy if you don’t like tourists lol rooms don’t really have a view. Wouldn’t let me check in an hour early unless I paid a fee"

"Didn't like the pool area, looks nicer in pictures. You have to reserve a swim time because the pool is small. Some man thought he reserved the pool for himself and family and told everyone to get out and complained to staff. The rooms were very dusty and not cleaned properly. Breakfast was great."

"Very nice hotel, staff were very friendly. They allowed early check in at no extra cost with our plane arriving in the early morning. Its close to food, bars and a short walk to all the attractions and the big bus stop. Tesco is right down the block for food items and snacks."

"It was fine, the room was lovely - was it worth the money for a river view, I’m not sure but regardless beds were comfy, everything was clean and the room was a decent size!"

"Comfortable, quiet room with kitchen area. No noise from neighbours, spacious by London standards and a private bathroom (no glass/barn doors here!). Enjoyed the location, less hustle and bustle than other areas in London but still close to everything. Nice communal lounge and terrace area with free coffee and tea. Our only annoyance was no air conditioning, the room got very warm and the window only opened a tiny bit for safety reasons. We did have a fan though, so not unbearable. Would definitely stay here again."

"The location is absolutely amazing and this place is clean and well appointed! We really enjoyed our stay at the Marlin Waterloo. We appreciated the kitchenette so we could make some breakfasts and lunches in the room. Everyone was very helpful."
