"Wonderful Birthday Stay - Truely Special! Stayed for one night before heading to Porto to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and was absolutely blown away by the experience. We used the hotel's private transfer from the Airport, which was smooth, professional, and a great way to start the stay. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a suite as a birthday treat, compete with Prosecco and fresh fruit waiting in the the room - such a lovely suprise! The suite was beautiful, spacious, with a balcony...

"Beautiful property. Extensive breakfast. The indoor casual (non-dining) areas are part of the original palace and you can roam around freely and sit while enjoying the space. The hotel rooms are modern, well equipped and very spacious - they have a closed off balcony. There is no access to the outdoor gardens from the room. The gardens directly in the front of the palace and around the columns are accessible. There is no access to what looks like an Orangery and the areas where the fountain(?)...

"Lemon Tree Stay is beautiful. We had the top floor room with our own private balcony as well as access to the communal balcony. There is a lemon tree and a flowering bush in the coutyard that smells amazing at night. Breakfast was vey good. The scrambled eggs were excellent. It was nice to be able to use the communal kitchen and get tea and coffee at any time."

"I paid £39 for one nights stay and it was worth every penny! Room was clean, bed was comfy and a decent hot shower. Good central location. The reception staff, one man in particular, was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again! "
