"This is a great place to stay. We used this hotel as our base as we backpacked across Europe. My wife especially enjoyed making our own breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen. Peter was a great host with lots of tips that made our travels even more enjoyable. The Swinton Train Station is a short walk from the hotel. Everything was great!"

"Fantastic. The Ascott hotel is wonderful, and I had a lovely stay. The owner was very welcoming on arrival, and my single room with an ensuite bathroom was immaculate. For my first stay in Manchester, this was a great location, close to some excellent shops and bars, and 10 minutes' drive to Salford Quays. I would most definitely book this hotel again."
