I have stayed in many rentals over the years, but Babbie’s Honey House takes the cake as the best Vrbo ever! From the amazing dock to comfy beds, giant hang out spots outside as well as in, to the great communication with the host, this stay was amazing! The photos do not do the house justice - it is very large with plenty of common spaces and spots for everyone to sit and enjoy. Next time we’re in Mobile, we will be staying here again. Thank you!

This place is perfect for a large group to stay. It’s completely stocked with family entertainment and outdoor entertainment, Bikes Ping Pong water Toys. It’s a definite must revisit for us.

My family and I stayed at The Honey House for the Thanksgiving week. We had a fabulous stay. The house is on a beautiful river with beautiful views. The house has EVERYTHING you could possibly need. And the location to the little town of Fairhope was just a short drive. The owner of the home, Babbie was very accommodating and lovely. I would definitely recommend staying at The Honey House to anyone.

I was so impressed by the wonderful communication of the host, Babette. Miss Babette, went above and beyond answering questions and making suggestions for our first time stay in Fairhope. This made all the difference in the world! It's was so nice to have a host that truly cared about every aspect of our trip and making sure that we were happy and satisfied. The Honey House is just wonderful. The host has thought of every detail to make your stay perfect. The location is great, enjoyed being on Fish River, it is a mystical place. We loved all the activities the host had set up, kayaks, a great dock, games for kids. The house was spotless inside , the kitchen had all the needs. The host has thought ahead to meet every need. If you are looking for the perfect relaxing getaway I would 10 out of 10 recommend a Honey house! We had the most wonderful time there enjoying nature and family time. We loved the beautiful sunsets and waking up to a panoramic river view was amazing. The home is completely stocked and we needed nothing but clothes and food! Can’t wait to come visit again!

We just left after staying the week of Christmas. The home is AMAZING, and the location on the river can’t be beat. The downstairs outside is a perfect place to hang out and love the boathouse with its own tv! Bibeette and John are the kindest and most thoughtful owners we have met in our travels. Communication is outstanding and it’s obvious their goal is to ensure those that stay have a perfect getaway. Recommend HIGHLY!

Of all the hosts, Babbie and her husband were the most exceptional and we have had all five star hosts at all previous properties. Not only is the home and grounds absolutely gorgeous, the home was spotless. The neighborhood is so peaceful and perfect. We are a family that loves to be outdoors and the river, the patio, the boat house, and the deck afforded us the opportunity to relax outside and enjoy the peace and serenity of the setting. My boys fished and my girls not only enjoyed sunbathing but also running and biking. There was a lilypad for us to float on and kayaks to take out on the river. If you have a boat, bring it as the launch is just next door and a boat slip for you to use the entire trip. We caught both small and large mouth bass right off the deck and enjoyed a beautiful boat road down Fish River. The property is within minutes of The Grand Hotel where we spent one afternoon. Our family could not have had a better weekend and we have already booked a return stay. Thank you for making this weekend a wonderful experience.

We come down here every year to spend time with family & this year was the best because of this house! We have a lot of family that live in the area & they all came to visit /meet the new member of our family. The house itself is cozy & clean. We ate dinner, played games & watched movies every night & everybody was comfortable & relaxed because there's so much space! During the day we swam & used the big blue mat in the water & it was so fun! There is also a ton of stuff to do & restaurants nearby. Babbie & her husband were awesome hosts. The house has any & everything we could've possibly wanted or needed for our stay. Fully stocked kitchen. Towels, board games, cards, TVs everywhere, a first aid kit & more! Very thoughtful & caring. We will definitely be coming back next year (hopefully sooner!) We created some beautiful memories & special moments here... This house is just perfect! Directly on the water. Beautiful yard. Gorgeous home. Thank y'all for letting us stay!

The river house was perfect for a weekend away. It had everything we needed. Very clean, cozy, and stocked with all necessities. My husband and son fished most of the weekend. My favorite thing was watching the football games on the screened in deck area with the beautiful sun sets. My son loved the foosball and ping pong tables (and feeding the goldfish). Babbie was the best host ever. We came in late and she met us at the house with the lights on. You can not get any better than that. Will defiantly stay again.

On a rare occasion we were able to get all 4 adult sons together with their spouses for a small vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Honey Home. Everything we needed was available to make it the perfect place including a boat lift. My wife has limited mobility and the lift made it so she could have ease of access to the house.

We've booked a lot of VRBO's and this is by far the BEST! The hosts were so kind and attentive. We were there for a baseball tournament. My son had a birthday during the tournament, and not only did the hosts get him a gift, they asked if they could do anything for our team birthday get-together. This home is perfect, beautiful, and super clean with an awesome outdoor area. The boys (big and small!) loved swimming and fishing. We are already looking at future dates to book. I would recommend anyone to book this place quickly - you won't regret it! You won't find a better place on the water or hosts! I wish I could give this one 100 stars! (My son even left a shirt and the host is shipping it to me)!

We came to Fairhope for Mardi Gras/Birthday weekend. This home is spotless and has all of the extra touches to make you feel right at home. The coffee bar is stocked, there's extra paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, aluminum foil, etc. Babbie has thought of everything! She is a perfect host who personally checked us in and showed us everything we needed to know. The home is about 10 miles from downtown Fairhope. We were able to uber to town with no issues whatsoever. If you are thinking twice about this home, don't! BOOK IT! You'll love it! ❤️ We will be back for sure.

Our family and I decided on a quick staycation getaway as we have never stayed on Fish River before. Words cannot describe how wonderful the Honey house is! The attention to detail and the beauty and charm exceeded expectations. The photos don’t do it justice! It sits peacefully on a beautiful part of the river and we were able to enjoy coffee on the porch in the morning and a nice glass of wine while watching football games outside in the evening. The children loved jumping in the river, kayaking, and building such sweet memories. The owners of this property thought of everything from a foosball table to a downstairs access bathroom to smart TVs throughout the home. If you want to stay on the river in style this place is a must!
