"Overall, this flat offered all we were looking for, a great price close to all the sights we were hoping to see. I assumed because it was a 3rd floor unit that there was an elevator, I was wrong. My husband is disabled so my own fault for not asking the question prior to booking. We didn't spend much time going up and down the stairs, and grandkids came in handy to retrieve meal deliveries. The place was exceptionally clean, up-to-date amenities, which included state of the art appliances. ...

"We’re seasoned travelers and VRBO customers! Nice apartment in fair-sketchy DC area. Booked 4 nights for Thanksgiving, night #2, awakened at 3:45am with a family standing in apartment! A duplicate reservation with code to building and apartment issued! Called VRBO and owner (Mary Stays-Siem) agrees to $350 refund (two nights) with VRBO recording call. However, one month later we’re still waiting for refund from Mary Stays and/or VRBO! Buyer Beware!"
