"The hotel was in an excellent location. In the middle of restaurants and attractions. The staff was kind and very helpful. The room was always cleaned and the free minibar was an added bonus. The bar at the place was also great. I will definitely stay here if I come back to Lisbon. I highly recommend it."

"This is an exceptional property in Lisbon. We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our stay. We were greeted by two of the nicest, most professional people you can imagine (Rita and Dylan), who made it clear that our happiness and satisfaction were very important to them. Our visit started with a quick drink of a local cordial and was followed by a tour of the property which included ancient ruins. The hotel itself is built into an old palace but it is completely modern and beautiful. The rooms were spacious with very high ceilings and the bathroom was gorgeous with ample high quality towels, robes, and toiletries. The housekeeping staff is vigilant with at least two visits a day, and anything else you might need. One of the best surprises was the cozy bar and excellent restaurant. The food was so good we decided to return to the hotel for our final dinner and just enjoy the outdoor seating. The location could not be better...we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go without using any transportation until our return to the airport, with the exception of the streetcars which we boarded just for the experience! Lisbon is a wonderful city and we give this hotel our highest recommendation. We will definitely return and will recommend to all of our friends."

The location was perfect, and every detail made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon."

"The location of this hotel is good between old town and Alfama. But it's a bit run down and lacks amenities like coffee in the room. Allegedly, there was unlimited coffee in the tiny lobby, but there were never any coffee pods for the nespresso maker. Staff seemed mostly uninterested in my companion's stopped up sink. Nice quiet room though. And clean."
