"Lovely hotel in an ideal spot for walks along the Dorset coast"

"This chalet is amazing! It has everything you could possibly want for a perfect stay and as close to the beach (pebbles) as possible with views over the sea. A really quiet and picturesque location. 10/10"

"The room was clean, shower over the bath, but could be a problem to older guests encluding my wife. Placed my towel on the edge of the bath but it was not replaced, but we were told it had to be in the bath. At breakfast we were served with an overcooked fried egg on our first morning, the next morning we had a very greasy and hard fried egg with black bits on and the mushrooms were cold."

"Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between."

"Great staff, lovely environment and super place to stay."

"We really liked everything about the Ollerod. Two thirds of our breakfasts were provided by Julie, who was so nice. We enjoyed chatting with her about the local area. The food was good and set us up for our busy days. We met Kim in housekeeping one day when we stopped by midafternoon. Our room was always spotless and looked as if we had only just arrived. We felt that a few improvements could really help elevate the experience. While the hotel is generally well maintained, some areas feel a little tired, neglected and lacking in purpose. The leisure area, particularly the space next to the now-closed swimming pool, is one example. We stayed in a family room, which...

"We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again. Thank you "

"Pleasant stay in a lovely location. Owner had Very enthusiastic dogs which is great if you’re a dog lover but not really our thing."
