"You get what you pay for but no complaints at all. The staff we came across were friendly and helpful. Our room was basic and clean but had what we needed. Breakfast is self service . Good choice and great views across the valley. It’s a good 10 minutes walk from the train station, all up hill so a taxi may be needed if you mobility is not too good. "

"Lovely hotel, great nights sleep - you’ll wake up thinking it’s the middle of the night as the curtains are properly black out! The only negatives were the cleaner almost hounding us out of the room on day one whilst we were getting ready and the lack of room clean / top up of tea etc on day two! "

"Comfortable and quiet one night stay. Very good free breakfast included. Parking was £16 for 24 hours. Walkable to the town centre and cathedral. Good wi-fi. Would stay again. "
