"The impression from the lobby/reception was worrying -- tatty carpet, dark, old-looking, and mismatched decor. But the rooms were comfortable and generally clean, though there was a bit of mould in the corner of the shower. The breakfast buffet was good, salmon-avo toast was very nice. The coffee was silly weak though, had to ask for a new pot. We had a pleasant stay but will probably try somewhere else next time."
"It was a very quirky stay. Room had lovely molton brown amenities and was clean but not quiet. We booked last minute and had a dog but were allocated on the first floor which made it difficult to let the dog out. No duty night manager so I had to take my dog out the back garden unbolt the door and bolt it back again. Very quaint nice staff I just would have preferred a ground floor room for my pooch."
