I did think the front yard look messy with the excessive amount of trees. And stair to the loft are steep and should be included in the listing. Those are just minor inconveniences out experience was over all a great one and I would choose this place again."

"Came to town just for a family wedding in marthasville & fell in love with Washington! Such an adorable little town with everything possible. We had desserts to bake for the wedding & the kitchen was so well equipped so that was a big plus! Local restaurants and park were also a draw for the area, and the river view was amazing! Thank you for such a welcoming bungalow!"

"My friends had a good time on our weekend stay. The neighborhood and neighbors were really nice. The outdoor area was a bonus, we liked the patio and yard space for outdoor activities. The house had everything we needed and were even provided extra toiletries. My only complaint would be the sleeping arrangements, the pull out bed wasn’t comfortable but we doubled up on mattresses and it worked out fine."

"We loved that parking was easy and the neighborhood was very walkable. It may be too far away for some folks, but we were able to walk to the Botanic Garden and have a nice outing. Everything about the stay was easy and we appreciated that the hosts had things set up to meet our needs when we arrived."

"Nice place. Suited our needs for attending a graduation at WashU. Only issue was the information emailed to us mentioned a pull-out sofa, but the location does not have one. Also, the WiFi information in the book wasn’t accurate and the correct information was sent in the check-in email. Bare bones, but covered what we needed."

"Nice property just minutes from SLU and Downtown. Easy drive to get to the local Universities and an inexpensive Uber ride to get Downtown. Nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. The property just about had everything you needed."

"Overall good experience, pretty quiet neighborhood and the house was clean and tidy. Only complaint we had was parking. There’s only one parking spot and other vehicles have to park at various streets a block or two away if you can get an open spot. Other than that everything was great!"

"We had a great time! The Red Barn was just what we needed for some quiet time to relax and take our time in St. Charles. The location is the perfect distance from the main street so you don't have to walk far to find something to do, but it's also not right on the "main drag" where you'd have people walking by all the time. Thanks for the hospitality!"

"We mostly used the place to sleep but it was exactly as described. Extremely clean and had everything we needed. Perfect distance to explore anything in STL and also walking distance from coffee shops and restaurants. Easy check in and Extremely easy checkout!"

"Very nice place to stay. Communication with the owner was exceptional - very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting St Louis - most everything is close by. Across the street is Tower Grove Park - lots to do their. Try to go to Friday Food Trucks if you can. That was fun. The duplex was clean and quiet and very. I would definitely stay there again."

"This house was perfect for our family to hang out and hit Main Street in St. Charles. The house itself has an updated kitchen and bathrooms and has enough space for a big family chill and watch movies or play video games. It is within walking distance of all the attractions on Main Street and if you are up to it, the Ameristar casino."
