"Very comfortable and modernized hotel. Good value. Unfortunately, the Annex to the main building had a strong smell of either paint of varnish 9in the halls and my room. This may have been due to the rooms being closed up. With the ventilation/A/C turned on and the windows open, the smell in the room dissipated fairly quickly. Other than that, a very pleasant stay. "

"Really lovely pub with great hotel rooms and parking (at an additional £10). Staff were friendly and helpful, there was a lovely outdoor space and the food (we stayed on for Sunday lunch) was lovely. The rooms were clean, comfortable and stylish, the pub décor was also stylish and comfortable. Don't really know how well connected it was to public transport as we drove there and then walked everywhere we wanted to go. All round great experience and would stay again if I needed to be in that part...

"Had a lovely couple of days. Room ok, bit on the small side but adequate for 2 days. Had Sunday lunch which was ok, think we were a bit late so maybe not as fresh as earlier in the day. Breakfast very good. Everyone who works there very friendly and good service. "
