"We picked this place for the ideal location, it is walking distance to everything. The room itself could use serious improvement, the ceiling in the shower was peeling and the couch was extremely outdated and worn down. The bed linen looked old and in need of replacement. Basic toiletries like hand soap for the bathroom had to be asked for because it was not provided. We also had to ask for a blow dryer which we were given and a clothing iron which we were not given. They also advertise breakfast but when we arrived the staff looked confused and annoyed. They didn't have anything ready for breakfast. In stead of sharing what they served, they asked us what we wanted. It seemed unorganized. A/C worked fine. The location is what sold this place. Maybe next time I would stay somewhere else"

"This was a lovely hotel, staff were extremely helpful and attentive when needed. A special shout out to Neja on reception. Breakfast and staff excellent. Standard room with balcony very nice and air conditioning excellent. Lovely hotel would stay again."

"Location is awesome! Inside the wall, steps from Kings Landing (Jesuit steps), the Buza bar, the museums n main cathedral & of course tons of restaurants. Short walk to the gate where the ferry leaves for Lokrum & a 6-7 min walk from Pile gate even with suitcases. Yet a slightly off to the side street, which was a bit smelly of cats, but is a quiet residential street. Most other streets hv restaurants & bars downstairs which we wouldn’t hv liked at all. We were on the 2nd floor. Shutters made the room dark plus the glass windows made it super quiet for sleeping. AC was cold, lots of hot water and pressure great! Mattress was ok but new pillows are needed. Room wasn’t cleaned during our stay-beds made/trash out wld hv been nice but no biggie, small room but we could open our 1 medium n 1 small suitcase which we couldn’t in our prior higher-end hotel in Korcula. Bathroom even smaller…but we were hardly in our room except for pit stops n to sleep. Loved having a tea kettle n cups in the room. Nikolina, the owner, was chill, very helpful and flexible. We arrived on an early ferry from Korcula to Dubrovnik. She made sure she was there to check us in and our room was ready. She arranged for our airport departure taxi at 4am where the driver met us at the hotel n helped carry one suitcase as well. If you want a pool, beachfront, sea view etc. you’ll want to go with a larger hotel chain outside the walls. But for a quiet, basic but clean stay Nikolina’s place is great!"
