"Le Moulin de Chateau was an ideal location to stay during our trip through the Verdon area. The hotels in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie were booked, but Le Moulin turned out to be an even better option. The owner and staff were warm and welcoming, the dinner and breakfast they prepared were highest quality, and the room was spacious, clean, and cozy. Everything about our experience here was excellent and we would stay here again."

"Evidemment c’est la vue splendide sur le lac qui est le gros atout de cette maison. On ne s’en lasse pas ! C’est également un endroit paisible et très calme. On peut descendre se baigner au lac en quelques minutes et l’eau est très bonne. Nous conseillons plutôt la baignade en partant à droite en dessous de la maison plutôt que celle proposée par le plan « à gauche » où c’est enclavé et sans vue. Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable avec nos 2 filles à profiter de la piscine, à faire du paddle, du canoé et la balade en bateau électrique en remontant les gorges est vraiment très sympa à faire. On a également très bien dîné au restaurant Cala recommandé par les propriétaires. A mon avis 2 ou 3 petites choses pourraient facilement améliorer le confort de la maison : pouvoir accrocher en hauteur les pommeaux de douche, trouver une solution pour mettre le grand frigo dans la cuisine et pas à l’autre bout de la maison. En effet le frigo de la cuisine est tout petit et en bas donc pas pratique du tout. Enfin un éclairage au dessus de la table extérieure serait vraiment utile, l’éclairage existant n’étant pas suffisant pour voir le contenu de son assiette une fois la nuit tombée. A part ces petites choses la maison est très bien équipée et agréable à vivre et on y a passé un très bon séjour."

"Excellent all around! If you’re looking for a weekend to escape and disconnect, this is the place. The rooms were spacious, clean and super well maintained. Service from the staff was top notch. And the crown jewel of the property… the spa, was impeccable from the treatment to the facilities. Saw another review about how loud the frogs are, but didn’t experience the same. You will hear the cicadas, but that’s nature’s white noise! Couldn’t recommend enough"

"Great Location for the lavender field trip. Plenty of parking space. Walking distance to Manosque city center. Staff were very nice and friendly speaking English. The building is dated, amenity was quite basic (no mini fridge), however the room was very clean, comfortable bed, understanding value of price. AC didn't work enough good, but I have to mention we stayed in the record hottest day in the summer. Not a fancy hotel but definitely a good value for money."
