"The thermostat in the room was broken and there was no other room to move to. The hotel is under partial construction and they gave us a room that should have been out of order to start with."

Watched the goats and miniature donkeys down the pasture. Had a wonderful lunch at Snappys diner. So peaceful…."

"The room had a couple areas that weren't the most immaculate. The bathroom floor looked clean but was sticky. And there were some small items left from the previous occupant under the chair in corner and under the bed. "

It was a short and pleasant walk to Mayberry attractions. We went to Pilot Mountain and it was breathtaking. The Tommy Jarrell festival was really great. The perfect location for the perfect little cottage. "
