"The room was comfortable however the fan was broken which meant the room got hot. Limited bathrooms available for number of rooms, cleanliness was ok. Washing machine was available as per listing. Communications with host were slow, we didn't receive check in instructions until we arrived and had to call the host. Not far from city centre, lots of shops available nearby."

"The staff is excellent. Overall the food was very good. The accommodations are OK for the age and condition of the building. Definitely need to upgrade the mattresses. They have lived a good life, but I need to be retired. Wonderful views overall excellent experience."

"Prided for being the oldest hotel in Denmark, you can feel its history the moment you step into the lobby, with its charming period furnishings. If you want a true taste of history, this is the place to stay. The rooms are adequate and warm, though ours had a rather slanted floor. The location is excellent.. right next to the cathedral and at the start of Ribe’s old street, two of the town’s main attractions. A small hiccup during check-in: there was no one at reception, and calls to the provided number went unanswered, which meant we couldn’t access the private parking. Breakfast, however, was fantastic, with a nice variety of options."
