Nant Ddu Lodge Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The room was very clean, no bugs, a few cobwebs, but we were extremely happy with the room. The staff are always lovely at The Hotel, helpful and friendly. Breakfast seems better and it was very good before. The pool, jacuzzi etc is the icing on the cake and our room was very close to the Spa."

"The staff were helpful and went out of their way to adapt menu for food allergies and willing to adapt breakfast menu as hot items cooked to order. Although an old building the room was modern and clean, the character features remained in communal areas, although the outside in places needed some tlc after the winter weather. Spa area dated but clean and functional."

"The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and a good choice. The bar is open well seated and out side sitting area. the external fabrication could do with improving for a better welcoming. Unfortunately stairs were a bit much travelling to our room accommodation. But it's only @8 times in a day.Try ground floor. Shower pressure quite low, toilet floor needs a better clean. All in all not bad in our experience. Thanks to all staff."

Dragon Inn Crickhowell

"This is the second time that I have stayed at the Dragon Inn. Generally it has been good. The only dissapointing thing for me is that breakfast does not start until 8am, which for a work trip is getting a little too late. Also, the cooked breakfast is now an optional extra, whereas in 2024 it was included. The entrance to the car park is dreadful."
