"I booked this hotel without knowing much about it or the surrounding area, since we were simply traveling to Buffalo for a swim meet and needed something affordable near the pool. My family and I were very happy with both the location and the level of service we received from the staff. The room was clean and comfortable, and every employee we encountered was friendly and eager to help with anything we needed during our stay. Randy, who was working the night we checked in, stood out in particular, he was incredibly kind and helpful. I truly can’t say enough positive things about him. I would definitely stay here again."

"I would most likely not stay at this hotel again. I’ve travelled and stayed at many hotels and this one was the worst. We found moths in the room, the beds very uncomfortable, no coffee machine or water to make the coffee in the room (but the description says coffee maker) you have to request it on check in. The staff was great and polite they brought a coffee maker to the room. The free breakfast was not worth it. The bread was hard. The pool was nice though and it’s close to target "

"Free parking in the Old Montreal is unheard of so it’s a huge bonus, especially since it comes with in and out privileges. The hotel itself is average and seems unfinished with some construction going on and poor sound insulation. We had a one bedroom suite on 2nd floor right next to stairs and elevator and could hear people talking through the door and walking above us. We asked to be moved and were told that everything was booked even though hotel seemed empty on Sunday and Monday nights. The apartment itself is adequate but has no AC in the bedroom and no cooking supplies in the kitchen including paper towels or salt but comes with decent storage in the bedroom and ample shower with nice bath products. The bed was comfortable and so was the sofa in the living area. Internet was also very fast which was an asset for working remotely. Finally, there was no view from our suite 207 as it was facing a wall so it was relatively dark inside. Hope this helps other guests decide where to stay and what to consider."

"Amazing, friendly, charming, helpful staff, they let us talk their ear off at the bar and were deeply knowledgable about the mansion's history and Buffalo's scene. Was there in a pinch to offer us extra water bottles or silverware, the small things you forget about when staying at a hotel. Great breakfast options. Immaculate interior, and I really appreciated the local fine art that adorned the walls. So many places do the boring, predictable touristy local maps and travel posters and call it art, this was a step above, as this storied mansion deserved. "
