"The apartment is very private and has a seasonal view toward Lake Erie. Private deck and loved drinking coffee in the morning from the deck while watching the birds (even saw a pair of eagles). Nice restaurants nearby in Westfield, and a short walk to Lake Erie. 20-25 minutes to Chautauqua Institution. I loved my week there and will definitely back."

"Perfect for myself, mom and two teenage daughters. Conveniently Located. Warm and cozy. The only negative I’d say is the beds were harder than we like. Other than that, next time I visit Erie, we will be staying again!"

The only constructive feedback I would offer is to include a pic of the outside of rental as it was a little less to be desired and to try and remedy odor in stairway to unit. Strong smell of dog urine. Inside unit however was clean and perfect. No off putting odors!"

"It may be biased because I was here during the 2024 Solar Eclipse, but this was the most lovely property and the layout of the house and outdoor space was amazing. The whole place is so welcoming and well-thought out. The kitchen and inside is also gorgeous. We would definitely come back here in an instant. The sweet little dogs are a bonus and I hope they grace you with their presence."

"We stayed for a long weekend to see the eclipse. We had a small issue with the lockbox checking in but they were super quick to rectify that as the owner lives next door. We loved the grounds because it gave my 2 year an opportunity to explore. The house is up on a hill so you do get a nice little view of the lake as well. It’s an old farm house and it has a lot of charm. Everything we needed was provided. It is also close to all the wineries in North East. I would definitely stay there again!"

"For the 3 of us, it was great. We enjoyed the Presque isle hiking trails, kayaking and boat tour spread out over 3 days. Local meadery was a nice find. Campfire Friday and Saturday nights. Place was clean, had everything needed in the kitchen, we did one load of laundry, nice to go back with clean clothes."

"Cozy but needs work to insulate against outside elements and noise from an attached unit. Time to invest in blackout shades for the bedroom and a refrigerator that properly seals upon closing. An electrical outage was scheduled for the entire town and though the property owner was made aware they still rented to us and made no mention of this 12 hour outage. After being without power all day on Saturday, no adjustment was made to credit our rental fee. The town is normally quiet and peaceful."

"The hostess was very helpful and welcoming. The sight is grand and the landscaping really facilitates enjoyng the location. The house is an open in a way that allows everyone to be together. Easy to get around Erie from the location and connect to 79 and 90."

"This house was perfect for our stay in Erie. Gathering for my parent's memorial service, we needed multiple houses in Erie to help accommodate our family and Janelle's properties were ideal. Not only was this house located with a beautiful view of Lake Erie, but it had an open floor plan that was perfect for our traveling guests. Janelle is a gracious host who always responded quickly to any questions or request. I highly recommend this property and will reach out to Janelle again the next time...
