"Resort is undergoing some upgrades atm to cope with the expected influx of school holiday travelers, The rebuilt children's splash zone will be a treat once completed and the kitchen is in the process of being refit as well. Staff and management are great and a pleasure to communicate with. Prices for food and drinks are on par with town center so if you do not wish to travel there is that option, also there is a supermarket next door with ATM's on the outside of the building. Tamanu on the Beach

Teouma

10/10 Excellent

This is an excellent resort for relaxing. We had a ocean front villa and loved it. It is worth the additional cost to be on the ocean as the second row does not have a view. ALso, it is fun to walk the long white sand beach at low tide and see all of the coral exposed and the fun aquatic life living in the pools. The staff was lovely, happy and helpful. A driver was arranged for us to tour the island and we recommend that. There are a lot of families so if you are not into kids in the...

The Beach Vanuatu

Port Vila

First the Cons. There are not enough lounge chairs in the beach section in front of the beach side bungalows. There were only three, so everyday it was first come first served. All the available lounges are in front of the pool/bar area. It really isn't an area conducive to ocean swimming because of the coral. You can only snorkel at high tide. Now the good stuff. It is pristine property, the grounds are immaculately groomed all day long by tirelessly working groundskeepers. The housekeeping...

South Pacific Memories

Port Vila

The location is quite secluded, so having a car is essential for getting around the island. The hosts are wonderful. I stayed for two nights, both without functioning air conditioning—though the unit was on, it only blew hot air. The host is aware of the issue and mentioned they plan to have it checked. Note that when working, the AC is scheduled to run only from 8 PM to 8 AM. Otherwise, it's a pleasant and relaxing place to stay.

Pacific Lagoon Apartments

Port Vila

10/10 Excellent

The owner, the staff, the location, and the rental unit were all fantastic. Having the lagoon right next to the lanai was so nice. Everything worked very well, the kitchen was even stocked with pots, pans, dishes, everything needed and all of it very useable and in working order. Even a French press. Super. They even had sea salt and a fresh pepper grinder. Great little things that make a big different to some of us. I was in to Vila every day for work while staying and it was so easy to...

Vanuatu Beachfront Apartments

Mele

10/10 Excellent

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment (room 4), and it led straight onto the pool, which is only 5 meters from the beach. Had a lovely time with our 6 month old and 5 year old, excellent staff, and a great location with Hideaway Island a short kayak away, and the Beach Bar 5 mins along the beach. Very clean rooms and thoughtful extras, extra friendly and helpful staff, and a small bar/kitchen with cheap (for Vanuatu) cocktails and handy food options. The apartments are about 10 mins by car...

Coco Beach Resort

Port Vila

10/10 Excellent

The manager welcomed me and I felt comfortable and safe immediately (single traveller). All staff help the guests with anything they need. I got the beach front fare, and it was worth it. The bed was really comfortable and I just had to walk a few metres to the most spectacular snorkelling with endless varieties of fish. The room took advantage of the breeze. In short, this was the perfect place to relax. I wish I had stayed 10 days instead of 5.

property only recently reopened after covid but they have done a good job getting ready. the managers kim and freddy do such a great job looking after the guests they really do go above and beyond. they make great food in their small restaurant really worth a try. only thing to note compared to website is that there is no oven or washing machine in the rooms and wifi is turned on and off to the room so if its a last minute booking you may not have wifi.
