The location and view of this home cannot be beat. This was our second time staying at Swamis and Matt is a great host. Both the beach and restaurants are within a short walking distance and all our beach accessory needs are available to use in the well stocked garage.

Three generations of our family enjoyed a wonderful beach vacation together. We loved the quiet location of the home, the energy of Encinitas, the close access to the beach, the feeling of safety in the area, and the excellent beach frontage that afforded miles of beach walking as well as bluff walking. Our dinners together on the deck watching the sunset were a delight. The rooms were spacious, all with ocean views. It felt like a well-loved home instead of a beach rental. We have already reserved for next year.

Matt was available to help with anything we needed. The view was amazing. There was a plethora of beach items available for use in the garage. The bedrooms are arranged nicely for privacy. Three of the bedrooms have double glass doors opening out to decks with beautiful ocean views. Close walking distance for eating, drinking and coffee. The area has a nice vibe. Our whole family was there with age ranging from 11 to 76 and we all had a great time.

Fabulous house

Location is amazing! Close to shopping and restaurants. Beach is beautiful with tide pools and scenic walks.House had everything needed and more. Owner is fast to Respond and very kind.definitely a must stay! Beds were comfortable too

The Oceanfront home is perfect! Great amount of space, tons of supplies for home or beach and really comfortable beds and living area furniture. The view from the deck is fantastic and walking to town was a breeze. Encinitas has lots of cute shops and restaurants and Cardiff is just a mile walk south with more restaurants. We're already planning our return!

Amazing location! The house is ocean front, sitting a top the bluff with the most amazing view. Stairs down to the beach are just a short walk up the street. Matt had a garage full of beach toys, chairs and even bikes that we were allowed to use. Made packing so much easier. We had an amazing time!

Could not ask for a better getaway. We celebrated our 60th anniversary here, overlooking Swami's Beach, with our children and grandchildren. The place is extremely well-stocked. Two of our grandkids learned to surf as we watched from the deck. You can look around the area but you are not going to find anything better than this!

House at time of booking was advertised as “impeccable”. It most definitely was not. It was filthy upon check in, clearly not professionally cleaned before our arrival. Didn’t look, feel or smell clean. Wet paper towel wiped on the floor on day one was black. Crumbs on the floors and inside the cabinets. Cookware dirty and worn. Too much stuff and clutter everywhere- not a relaxing vibe. Furniture, carpet, linens don’t match the listing photos. Very worn. Used bars of soap in every shower, shabby towels. House has a lot of potential but needs a thorough clean out and cleaning at an absolute minimum.

Beautiful beachside

Amazing views, crashing sounds of waves, a 10 min walk to the beach. We had a blast with the kids body boarding, checking out tide pools, and enjoying downtown Encinitas. Will be back

AMAZING SWAMIS BEACH HOUSE!

absolutely fantastic house - right on the ocean - decks everywhere - views from every room! host was great! he checked to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us some great tips on where to go /what to see. house impeccably stocked with everything. we are so sad to leave! but will definitely be coming back to stay here again !

It is the perfect Cape Cod home

The owner, Matt, greeted us at the house and was so helpful in giving us pointers on the house and places to visit and eat. The layout of the house was perfect for being all together as well as having space to enjoy quiet time. We loved Encinitas small town feel and how kind everyone was. The only thing that I would add is the secondary bedroom upstairs needs a fan for air circulation. We definitely will go back!

Perfect family vacation

7 of us, 23 to 87, thoroughly enjoyed our week together; the spacious house gave us each our comfy nest for sleeping. Matt was immediately responsive to any questions. The view is unsurpassed--coastline, waves & surfers. The area offered us easy access to groceries and restaurants and the drive to San Diego to activities and airport was only 1/2 hr. Memories are made of this!

Christmas on the Beach!

Swamis was the best! Booked this for the week of Christmas for my family and extended family and it was magical… dolphins and seals frolicking in the waves beyond the deck and lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. Matt was super welcoming and showed us all the tricks with the home. It was well stocked with all that was required for the beach and beyond. I want to tell everyone about our stay but I’m afraid it will increase demand and won’t be available for me!

LOVED every Minute!

You can’t beat this location overlooking cliffs and ocean, with a short walk to beach access and the town shopping. The sleeping breeze was spectacular, homey cozy decor, interesting room layout for family to spread out! Kitchen was adequate for Thanksgiving dinner. The showers were powerfull!! If you are a sanitation freak you will appreciate the scented sheets etc. Lits of Puzzles games etc. It was very hard to leave this place.

Perfect Location

We stayed here for five days with friends and it was perfect. The house overlooks the ocean and is a one minute walk to the beach access. The beach is public but enclosed by rocks so is smaller and much less crowded. We were there over the 4th and while we saw other beaches that were packed ours never was. It’s a ten ish minute walk to the Main Street of Encinitas with shops and restaurants and easy access to the buses and rail. There was plenty of space for our group and you can’t beat the sound of the waves crashing all day and night. A very relaxing vacation for us all and Matt was absolutely wonderful. We can’t wait to go back!

We were in awe of this house and location! The parking lot was great for our two large SUVs. The walk down to the beach was the right kind of exercise pre-beach day. The stairs are not accessibility friendly … keep in mind. The host was great! Greeting us at the house for a quick run down of the home. We appreciated all communication and felt comfortable asking questions. A quick note that if all doors are left open along the deck, dogs have quite a large space to access, including being close to the 101 and main walkway for beach-goers. We used a few gates and bungee chord (thanks to host) to make a gate for my frenchie to keep him away from all the hubbub. House is stocked will all of the boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, floaties. All the things you could possibly need. Loved the shampoo and conditioner and brand new bar soap in each bathroom. My only thoughts are that the kitchen felt disorganized. It wasn’t automatically clear where to find things and the kitchen has an insane amount of storage. I also think the twin bedroom suit should be turned into the second master, with its own wing of the house and bathroom. The younger kids on the trip were spoiled with having a full bathroom while some of the adults had to walk across the hall. We would have loved a true double master. Overall, we would love to come back!
