"The pictures do not do this property justice. Book this place now, you won’t regret it! There is not much in this area to go and do but we just wanted 2 days away from EVERYTHING so it was perfect! Would also suggest 4 wheel drive to get to the location. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be returning."

"Could not have had a more perfect and amazing stay! After backpacking 20 miles on the AT, this cabin was the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate, with more amenities than we knew what to do with! Haha. The location is absolutely perfect, being so close to the Creeper Trail/Damascus, while also a very short distance from Abington. The hosts were both so friendly and made the check-in/check-out process so simple. Highly recommend this beautiful cabin for your getaway!"

"Owner was very positive and communicative. Listing accurately represented the accommodations. Very thorough fire and home documents sent describing the cabin before arrival. Even though it was summer, without air conditioning, the cabin stayed surprisingly cool. Curtains were vintage and a bit of a challenge to open. "This was our second stay at the Stargazer. We really enjoyed the access to the river, our dog loved it. When the sky cleared at night, the name Stargazer was appropriate. We could see thousands of stars and the Milky Way. We hope to return soon."

"We came for our daughter’s graduation and stayed for a family vacation. This property exceeded all of our expectations! The pictures don’t do the property justice. The pictures don’t show how comfortable the beds are, how clean the house smells, how vast the property is outdoors, or how calming and relaxing this places is. It was food for our souls! "Cabin is beautiful, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Great location as we hiked in TN one day and did 17 mile bike ride in VA the next. Did a lot of home cooked meals but there were plenty of restaurants close by to choose from. Host was fabulous, quick to respond to any question we had. Really enjoyed our time here!"

"The cabin is very clean inside. There was a lot of care and attention to the details. The location is great, close to the Dollar General. If you leave the cabin be aware that there is poor cell phone service. The outside porch could use some repairs but does not effect your enjoyment. "
